Field and Stream Magazine Suggests The Gift of a Dry Butt.
We very much appreciate the kind words of Bill Heavy at Field and Stream magazine. Mr. Heavy is the is the writer of Field & Stream’s popular backpage column, ‘A Sportsman’s Life’. He loves to deer hunt, hoard gear, and irritate David E. Petzal, whoever that is.
We wanted to answer his questions about our marketing efforts. Field & Stream Magazine Suggests Gift Dry Butt
- Should we send these announcements to women? Yes, and we do. A number of female journalists have asked us to refrain from sending these announcements to them. Though to be fair just as many write to us and say they appreciate receiving our announcements if for no other reason than they are funny. We’d like it better if they wrote great columns about them the way Mr. Heavy did, but as a start up we will take what we can get. As far as the male-female thing goes, what we see (at least in the short term) is that there are 3 men who visit the web site for every woman who visits. However, and to his point, there is a much larger percentage of women ordering SwampButt Underwear than men. So the next assignment is to find more ways to reach women who know or are somehow connected to men with sweaty backsides! Anyone with an idea, please let us know. - Can you send a pair to a woman in your life? The answer is yes and we want to encourage this. Most of the women we know wear them; like who will ever know? While SwampButt Underwear is designed for men, certainly a woman who has swamp butt can and should wear them. Married to a sweaty babe? Send her a pair or two. She will never know who sent this. We won’t tell. Field & Stream Magazine Suggests Gift Dry Butt
- I think we can all agree that this is marketing genius. Yes, we can. And no matter how many times we hear this, it never gets old. We have a saying here at SwampButt Underwear, the genius button has no off position. The humility button on the other hand does.
