Springs starts this week. That’s something even the scallops are singing about. Get a little batty and keep the sand out of your pants. wampButt Underwear
1. Songs from the sea.
Singing pink scallops are back on Puget Sound dinner plates for a limited time. The unique scallops are called singers because they open and close their shells while they swim, giving the appearance that they’re singing. Also, they are pink.In Everett Washington They Are Prepared For Spring Break With SwampButt Underwear

2. Tales from the Bat Lady.In Everett Washington They Are Prepared For Spring Break With SwampButt Underwear
Learn everything you always wanted to know (but was afraid to ask) about bats from Barbara Ogaard, who rehabilitates injured bats for Bats Northwest and the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center. She’ll put on a show with slides, props and stories. And you can meet a few of the Bat Lady’s pets — from a distance, that is. Presentation is 10 a.m. to noon March 25 at Chase Lake Elementary School commons room, 21603 84th Ave. W., Edmonds. Free. Donations accepted for Sarvey. Hosted by Edmonds Floretum Garden Club. More at www.edmondsfloretumgardenclub.org.
3. Prevent sand chafing, uh, down there. In Everett Washington They Are Prepared For Spring Break With SwampButt Underwear
SwampButt Underwear is made to fend off sand that collects inside beachwear bottoms at the worst possible location and the rash and chafing that accompany it. The men’s boxers and briefs wick away moisture and act as a barrier against that reef. Handy for dudes on spring break who are too busy to change their shorts. Also available: SwampButt T-shirts with a logo of a green alligator in tighty-whities. More at www.swampbutt.com.
